Fairs and
Festivals in Denham Springs, La
Denham Springs Antique
Village has two festivals every year. One in the Spring and
one in the Fall. Both festivals are about the same. A lot of
schools have their fairs and vary as of the time of year. You can
check with the School Board for dates.
DENHAM
SPRINGFEST April 30th 2011
Denham's
SpringFest is one of two street festivals held the first
Saturday of May in Denham Springs' downtown antique
district. During these festivals, Range Avenue from Florida
Blvd. to Centerville Street is closed to automobile traffic,
as booths, food vendors and entertainment fill the streets.
FALL FESTIVAL
1st Saturday in October
The Fall Festival
is held on the 1st Saturday of October every year in the
Antique District of Denham Springs. This
street fair features a wide variety of wares and continuous
free entertainment throughout the entire day. There are
always plenty of food vendors.
NOTE: If your coming here to
see antique vendors set up in the streets then you are in
for a surprise. This past festival I only saw three vendors
selling antiques. Two of them were shop owners. This
festival being in an Antique District you would think would
have plenty of antique vendors set up in the street but it
doesn't. The promoters of these festivals really need to do
out of their way to get antique vendors to come and set up.
In years past the north end of Range Ave in the Village was
where the antique vendors were set up.
